Animal Freedom Foundation

Project Animal Freedom’s grant-giving division

Established in 2019, the Animal Freedom Foundation awards small grants to our chapters and deserving activists.

Unfortunately, our grant portal is no longer open due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the associated fundraising losses. However, we are still providing limited emergency funding for animal rights activists who desperately need it. We are also looking for philanthropists willing to donate several thousand dollars to this vital community support mechanism, which will only become more crucial as we continue opening chapters across the Midwest. Email us at info@projectanimalfreedom.org for more information.

Community Outreach Grant

Our Community Outreach Grant is a competitive grant awarded to our chapters and worthy activists within our network for the purpose of furthering one or more forms of vegan outreach these chapters or individuals undertake. We prioritize innovative outreach and other forms of outreach that may not be funded by other animal rights grant-giving organizations.

Activist Support Fund

We award small grants of up to $250 to animal rights activists facing emergency situations, from hunger to eviction. We expect recipients of this grant to pay back the amount of money we awarded them within 12 months to sustain this program and enable us to help as many struggling activists as possible.
